In recognition of this, we offer ht://dig, an open-source site search tool. Deploying ht://dig is very straightforward: you simply specify the areas of your website you want to make searchable, index them (generate a database of keywords that links search terms to matching pages), add a search form to your website, and configure the ht://dig results page.
